We have the capability today to view the world stage especially the historical Middle East crises moment by moment but we are not connecting what is taking place right before our very eyes as our patriot air is getting cut off and every breath seems to be getting more difficult.
Old Glory seems be very sick but her diagnosis seems to be unknown and it is the watchmen on the walls prayers that we must rely on. America might just have a diagnosis of terminal and non=reversible but I pray we have not hit the point of no return? For those of you who have read the book While England Sleeps by David Leavit, you might agree with me that someone needs to write another book called "While America Sleeps" I wish I could invite America's young people over to my home for dinner. Sitting around talking during a healthy meal could be a great teaching moment. I'd love to share my heart with young folks. The first question I'd ask them is "In the face of adversity, do you know without a doubt, that you have the endurance to secure food, water, shelter, safety and be equipped to help your family survive?" I'm thinking a discussion on Survival might be a topic of interest. History gives us great examples of what young families did to survive during dark days of unrest and protests turned violent. On the heals of barely recovering as a nation from an economic collapse we are now violating our cities and protesting across America paying no attention to the agenda set forth by radical Islam who are watching and waiting to take advantage of the situation. We insult our flag, argue like preschoolers, kill each other and then blame it all on law enforcement as we destroy our communities. This has to be insanity or a terminal cancer because who would do this to the greatest nation that ever was? This is not how we solve our problems. Does anyone remember history and the Mongol invasions? These invasions induced a population displacement on a scale never seen before in central Asia as well as eastern Europe. Word that the Mongol hordes were coming would spread terror and panic among communities. Now what group of people does that remind you of today? We have BLM rioting with violence, Islamic attacks happening everywhere and a criminal running for the highest office of President. What in the world is going on with America? Our beloved country is full of an argumentative spirit fighting back and forth about whose personal opinions are more correct than someone else's. People are accusing their neighbors of being too far left or too far right or even whose agenda matters the most. No one is connecting to the fact that this is exactly the root cause of full blown civil wars in Iraq, Libya, Syria or Yemen. Given the chance I am sure any of the citizens in these countries would trade places with anyone in America right now. I don't think they would accuse Old Glory of oppression in this great land of opportunity. When you find yourself in a the middle of a civil war and suddenly an over-night refugee running for your life, there is little time for protesting or blaming it on oppression. In Syria life changed overnight for everyone. Do you think any of them were able to grab backpacks of food, first aid, water, knife, fire starter, water bottles, clothes, light sources or something to keep warm? All the protesters, government handouts and media outlets all seemed to have vanished. No one is discussing whose life matters in Syria, Sudan or Turkey now. Does America think we can continue to feed and incite gross conflicts that divide people and not end up just like Egypt, South Sudan or Turkey? Does anyone think for one moment the people in Algeria, Jordan or Lebanon don't wish for one moment they could transcend back to a more stable time? Do American millennials who want it all for "free" ever think about safety and stability? Do you think Americans really get the refugee mentality and understand food, water, and medicine may be in short supply should our country be struck by a disaster. I'm thinking in moments of national crises "taking" a knee will finally hit home. Shouldn't the core goal of a man's soul be to connect to spirituality, peace and goodness instead of constant division and tensions? If we sat around our dinner table with millennials from Saudi Arabia, Iran, Kuwait or Morocco don't you think they would rather embrace a religious community of peace and prosperity as opposed to dominance, violence and cutting off people's heads in the name of spiritual ideology? See the difference between the young people of the middle east and American millennials is the middle eastern folks understands what is going on all around them, and are terrified by the thunder and continuous storms. History has not escaped their memories and it should not escape any of our memories. If I could have America's young people over for dinner and a conversation I'd probably ask them if they ever heard of the Mongol Invasion. It is important to recognize we are not immune to the domestic & global unrest. We are especially vulnerable because we are a nation divided and caught up in cat fights over issues that don't even exist in the minds of most people. If we think for one moment we are vaccinated against the deadly diseases of conflicts, which in the past ended up as Bubonic Plagues and Black Death then you have been lied too, or you have not been taught history. My friends It is possible to lose it all in just one generation.. My motherly advice for millennials is to STOP listening to social media and start a revolution to make America GREAT again. Advocate and protest to replace agitating news media with Historians, people who are actually qualified to put world news in context with accuracy, truth and time-tested solutions. Why keep repeating the same mistakes? The next step would then be to understand how critical your VOTE is. See you cannot make America Great Again, if you do not STAND With America. Hang old glory from your homes and salute a Vet because it is your future that all of us our voting for in November.... Change starts with all of us working together! I'll see you when the smoke clears! Blessings, Dr. Carly |
